The students who are willing to work in the heavy vehicles sector in Dubai have to prepare for the truck course. The RTA driving test can enable the learners to get the licenses to drive in Dubai. Medical requirements
With effect from May 2013, the drivers who are willing to do heavy bus driving have to fulfil the following criteria for obtaining the permit and license.
- An examination for the medical fitness has to be attended at the centers approved by the RTA
- Once the exams have been passed and the license has been received, an amount of AED 110 must be paid for obtaining the commercial driving license
You must also note:
- If you have a valid driving license from 33 countries that are recognized, you can transfer your license directly by going to any RTA office. You just have to submit the required documents and the fee for the same.
- If you own a valid DL of the UAE, from any of the emirates other than Dubai, you must transfer your DL to Dubai, before you open any file in Dubai for any kind of vehicle category
- If you have ever had any kind of traffic fine on your name, you would not be able to open any file until you clear all your fines.
